Why Blue Ridge Underground
More Than a Back Room
Birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, retirement parties, anniversary celebrations, graduation parties, reunions. Blue Ridge Underground gives you a real venue with a stage, sound system, and full bar instead of a cramped restaurant space.
Daytime rentals (weekday or weekend morning/afternoon) start at $150/hour with a 2-hour minimum. A 3-hour Saturday afternoon baby shower runs about $525 total including the required bartender. Weekday evenings are $500 flat.
The space holds up to 299 guests, but smaller groups work great too. Bring your own decor, your own caterer, your own cake. The kitchen is available for prep. We can connect you with local vendors if you need referrals.

What types of events can I host here?

How many people does the space hold?
Blue Ridge Underground has a maximum capacity of 299 guests. For seated events like dinners or receptions, 130 or fewer guests is the most comfortable setup. Contact us with your guest count and we'll help you figure out the best layout.
Can I bring my own caterer?
Absolutely. Use any caterer you want. The kitchen is available for prep and serving. We don't have an exclusive catering arrangement.
What about decorations?
Bring your own. The space has industrial ceilings and a mountain backdrop stage, so it looks good without decorating. You're welcome to add banners, flowers, table settings, or whatever your event needs. We can also connect you with local vendors if you need help.
Is there parking?
Yes. There's a parking lot right next to the building at 560 English Street.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, especially for weekend evenings and holidays. A few weeks out is usually fine for weekday events. Popular dates like December and wedding season fill up faster.
